The need for Orthotic treatment arises when a person
experiences an injury caused by stroke attack or accidents. Orthotics is a
specialized field of medicine in which all the aspects of orthoses is concerned
like its design and manufacture as well as its application. Orthoses are
generally devices, which are applied externally on the patient for the benefit
of the patient who has suffered a structural or a functional anomaly in the
neuromuscular or the skeletal systems. The process of application, treatment

Orthoses of the Upper Limb: Treatment of the upper limb includes
the hands, arms, upper back and lower back, spinal cord and various other

Today with the awareness and acceptance of alternate forms
of medical treatment gaining popularity, the role of Chiropractic treatment of
such disorders has become very significant as it has been found to be a very
