There are different types of healing techniques that we can choose when we suffer from aches and pains. The common treatments by chemicals in the form of pills and capsules is usually resorted to in the hope that the pain will just be taken care of. A temporary suppression of the pain will not really give a long term relief or affect the cause. There is a therapy that approaches thepain with an intention to remove the pain and its underlying cause and provide the body with overall health. Chiropractic treatment is extremely effective in cases of aching muscles, joints, backache, cervical pain and the like.

A very potent technique that Chiropractic treatment uses is massage therapy- a powerful, hands on healing therapy that relieves pain and increases the body’s mobility. Regular massages by a Chiropractor will go a long way in realigning the spine, relaxing the muscles, soothing the nerves and increasing flexibility. The Chiropractors are trained in providing massage therapy to the body and they know the exact pressure and points that need to be addressed to bring relief to the body.

Massage therapy and Chiropractic combined will make the treatment extremely effective since the whole body is relaxed and co-operates with the healing. Therefore, the recovery is faster and adjustments are easier.

Massage is probably the oldest form of therapy and has been practised since ages in Ayurveda and Chinese medicine. Massage soothes the muscles and increases the oxygen supply to the spine and body parts. Using it before a Chiropractic treatment makes the body ready and flexible for alignment by manipulation. Common problems like headaches and backaches are also relieved by massage by a Chiropractor. The rejuvenation of the body and the stimulation of the immune systems are added benefit of combining massage and chiropractic therapies.
